What this feature really means
The light is the half people underrate. A 2600 lumen floodlight across an approach changes how the space is used at night in a way that no amount of recording does, and it is also what lets the camera produce colour footage instead of monochrome infrared.
These replace a mains fitting, which is both the constraint and the advantage. The constraint is that you need wiring where the fixture goes and a switch that can stay permanently on. The advantage is that being hardwired, they record continuously rather than waking on motion.
Check the detection pattern as carefully as the lumens. A floodlight camera with three PIR sensors covering 270 degrees picks up someone arriving from the side; one with a single forward sensor does not notice until they are already in frame.
