Each review follows the same shape: the one-line verdict and who should skip it, then the specification as the listing states it, then what the camera costs to keep running. Where a listing does not publish a number, the review says Not listed rather than borrowing a figure from somewhere else.
5 of these cameras carry a warning box because their listings have fewer than 200 ratings, so the score shows a pattern rather than a track record. Those boxes are part of the review, not a disclaimer bolted on.
No camera here was tested in a lab, and none of these pages claims otherwise. What the reviews add is the running-cost arithmetic that listings leave out, the mounting and setup traps that cause most returns, and a plain statement of who should buy something else instead.
Prices on review pages are shown as bands with the date they were checked. They move, often weekly, and the Amazon listing is always the authority.
Updated October 27, 2026 by Henrik Halvorsen. Specifications were checked against the Amazon listings on that date. Prices are shown as bands because they change week to week; the listing shows today's.
